Why should you use Gardner Precision Technologies (GPT) for computer repair?

Computer technicians at our company fix and maintain desktops, laptops, and servers. Building or setting up new hardware, installing and updating software, and setting up and maintaining computer networks are all part of our job.

Gardner Precision Technologies (GPT) does business in both public and private sectors, among other places. In the private sector, computer repairs are often done by certified technicians with little formal training in the field. At GPT, on the other hand, only industry engineers do these kinds of jobs.

GPT offers physical and investigative services, as well as technical support. They are experts in data recovery, system administration, and managing information systems. We never hire freelancers or representatives who don’t speak English as their first language as subcontractors.

GPT is an expert in information security services. They fix computer problems like malware, spyware, and viruses, as well as minor settings that aren’t working right. They can also replace hardware and reinstall an entire operating system (Windows, Apple OS X, and others).

For your convenience, GPT offers services on-site. You can also bring your system to us to save time and get services the same day. We may also recycle old hardware that you bring back to us.

Fixing Hardware

Computer hardware comes in a lot of different forms, but GPT works with five main types: desktops, laptops, servers, and smartphones/mobile computing. Input devices (like keyboards, mice, and scanners), output devices (like displays, printers, and speakers), and data storage devices (like internal and external hard drives and disk arrays) are some of the other things we work with and sometimes fix. System administrators at GPT work with routers, switches, and wireless networks, among other networking hardware. OEM stands for “Original Equipment Manufacturer.”

Help with Software

When GPT can, they will always keep the computer user’s data and settings safe. This way, when the computer is fixed, the user won’t have lost any data and can use the device normally with little trouble. GPT could fix the problem by doing something as simple as changing a few settings or preferences, or it could do something more complicated like installing, uninstalling, or reinstalling different software packages.

A restore (also called cloning, imaging, and/or reimaging) is a reliable but a bit more complicated way to fix software problems. It involves putting the computer’s original installation image back on a formatted hard drive, which includes the operating system and original programs. If you don’t back up your important files and settings on an external drive, everything will go back to the way it was when it wasn’t being used. GPT can only reimage if there is already a copy of the computer’s hard drive somewhere else, either on a separate drive or at home. If you saved a restore point on a Microsoft Windows system (usually on the hard drive), you can go back to that point and restore the Windows Registry. This can sometimes fix problems that started after the restore point was made.

Pay attention to your core skills.

When you work with GPT, you can focus on what you do best, which is running your business. People have said that you are either putting business first or having fun with it. A lot of people try to run their own IT services without being serious about it, and they get irritated when they have to do things that aren’t related to their main job duties.

People who work as doctors, dentists, lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, marketers, executives, office managers, government officials, and other professionals who try to work part-time as IT professionals waste thousands of dollars every day. Do the best job you can with what you know; hire someone else to do the rest. Spending time and energy learning IT is not only a waste of time and effort, but also a chance to learn something new. IT professionals who aren’t qualified may waste a lot of time looking for solutions, putting new technology into use, testing software and operating systems, thinking about different hardware options, and putting out daily IT fires. Think about this when you’re outsourcing: only outsource things that other people can do better and for less money. Spend your time making your business bigger and better. When IT professionals aren’t qualified, they waste time working in the business instead of on the business. Contact us right away.
